Our Wholebeing Philosophy & Values

Verité in French means ‘truth’ and we like to speak it. All our products are true to nature; each and every product we make is harmoniously and ethically made with honesty and respect to the plant energy and essences put into them. We believe this ‘bottled love’, is passed onto you, our wonderful customer to energetically nourish, balance and restore your skin, body and mind.

Our concept of 'Wholebeing beauty' is about taking the Whole person; body, mind and spirit into account. When I formulate a product or treatment , I sit with the product idea, and envision how  it can nourish, uplift and restore your Wholebeing. Then each ingredient is picked for their unique gift they can add to a particular formula and after that products are lovingly handcrafted in small batches.

Our Verité treatments are created in this same Wholebeing way, so that when you leave a skin or body treatment at one of our partner salons or spas, you are cocooned in a radiant, loving, nourished hug of wellbeing that extends well beyond your skin.

To continue the Wholebeing wellbeing journey, we actively encourage a healthy body and mind through healthful foods, mindfulness and activities like meditation (seated, walking or really whatever beautiful activity that puts you into a state of bliss) to encourage overall wellness.

Our Commitment 

• To be true to nature and not use synthetic ingredients and fillers in our products. Our products are 100% true to nature, and we look for natural alternatives to synthetic elements, so that each jar and bottle is filled with only natural botanical actives.

• To create products which heal and restore skin, body and mind. Each ingredient is mindfully selected and hand blended to create products that nourish and rejuvenate your skin, restoring radiance. 

• To be conscious of the impact we have on our environment. We work hard not to use excess package or indulge in unnecessary printed materials. Our products are hand filled into Violet Miron glass, which can be reused to store and enhance the energetic properties of whatever you choose to put into them once the product is finished.

• The packaging that we send our products in is recyclable, and we also recycle all our packaging received from suppliers - so if sometimes you do happen upon a piece of bubble wrap or plastic - it's because we received it from a supplier, and have reused this rather than thrown it away. Our packing peanuts are made from pop starch, which are fully biodegradable and can be composted. 

• To create products which are not harmful to the earth or to the animals that live on it. Our products are vegan and cruelty free (PETA approved). We test on human volunteers and never on animals, and ensure our suppliers don't either.

• We  plant a tree for every order you make, this way we can offset some of our carbon footprint and encourage communities to thrive. Our current planting project is in India, working with the communities to restore their sacred forests and herbal gardens.
